Bought Band of Brothers DVD set

I was searching for a DVD Set, Band of Brothers. I searched and found this thread. I contacted the seller, and made sure it was exactly what I wanted (widescreen and such), he said it was $60 shipped, and we agreed upon that.

I asked him for his paypal address, he let me know that he couldn\'t ship it until the following Tuesday, which was no problem. I had sent the money, and he let me know that he was shipping it via Media Mail. I thanked him and I waited.

I then waited a week and a half after he had \"shipped\" the item. I contacted him on AOL Instant Messenger. I let him know I hadn\'t received it yet, and I wanted to let him know. He said if its not there soon, he\'ll refund my money, and he apologized for what had happened. I asked him if he had a DC number I can track with, and he said Media Mail doesn\'t come with it. I let him know for a small fee that he could have gotten a DC number, and said he didn\'t know about that and apologized. He told me he\'ll keep an eye out for me and keep me updated. I thanked him, and that was the end of our first conversation.

A little over a week after that conversation (about 3 weeks away from the original payment date), I let him know I still have not recieved it. He said it was returned to him because he wrote my address wrong. I asked him if he had a tracking number for me, and said he barely had enough money to ship it out. I asked him what service he used, he said priority mail, and he shipped the day before. I told him I would let him know when I receive the item, and thanked him.

Now, a week after that that conversation (4 weeks from original payment), I still had no item.

On May 15th I had filed a complaint with Paypal, he had 10 days to either provide a tracking number saying he had shipped, or a receipt proving he had refunded me my money or else Paypal would automatically transfer funds back to my account. On the 24th, one day before Paypal\'s deadline, he gave Paypal a tracking number. Now, on the 27th, I had recieved the item.

It took almost 6 weeks to recieve my item from payment. The only thing preventing a negative feedback was that he was friendly whenever we communicated, and the item was as described.

I do advice if you do trade with him, make sure he pays first if you are selling him something, or make sure he ships first if you are purchasing something from him. I would trade with him again only under those circumstances.

Bought a Toshiba PDA from him. Came well packaged and as advertised.

Shipping and communication we\'re as high as I expect, but the deal happened to coincide with spring break, so hopefully it was a one time thing.
